The Future of Our Water
Have you booked your place for our upcoming water event? We are asking where our water will come from in the future - is it clean enough, and what can we do to protect it? After a year of heatwaves, very little rain, and continuing drought, the future of our water supply matters more than ever.
Join us in the Assembly Hall at The Petersfield School on 19th November for an open and informative event looking at the water issues affecting Petersfield and the surrounding area. Hear from Southern Water and the Western Sussex Rivers Trust, meet representatives of Petersfield Town Council, Petersfield Tree Squad, Eco Rother Action, Final Straw Foundation, Hants & IOW Wildlife Trust, South Downs National Park Authority, National Trust and Western Rother Beaver Group, and put your questions directly to the people who know what’s happening.
The event is free to attend but we ask that you please book a place here.

Don't miss the last Repair Café of 2026!
On the last Saturday of each month you are invited to bring your broken items from home to the Repair Café at the Avenue Pavilion, to receive help with mending them.
At a Repair Café, you'll find tools, materials, and skilled volunteers to help make repairs - to clothes, electrical appliances, crockery, toys and more.
Find out more about the initiative and what to expect here and please come along between 1.30-3.30pm. You can also enjoy a cuppa and piece of cake offered by Petersfield Women's Institute!
The last Repair Cafe of 2026 will be on Saturday 28th November.

PeCAN at the Pub
Please join us for PeCAN at the Pub on the last Wednesday of the month in The Folly Bar (find us in the area to the right of the bar, ahead of you as you walk in). We hope that offering a monthly evening gathering will enable those who have been unable to attend our Tuesday morning Eco Cafe to join us.
The gathering relocates to the Folly Upstairs on a bimonthly basis, to become a Volunteers Evening. These are in January, March, May, September, and November (with a Summer Party July/Aug and a Christmas Party in December). Everyone is welcome! Order a drink at the Folly Bar if you'd like one, and then join us upstairs for a short presentation followed by breakout groups and brainstorming.

We are looking for a volunteer trustee to support and drive forward our education outreach work with children in local schools.
Our aim is to provide students of all ages with knowledge, understanding, and skills to help them navigate the future with resilience, confidence and wisdom. We want to empower them to make planet-friendly choices themselves, and enable them to amplify their voices in explaining those choices to others. Over the past two years we have delivered more than 100 transformative (and free) assemblies and workshops, reaching over 5,000 children, but with your help we could do much more.

Petersfield Eco Café
Join us every Tuesday from 11am - midday in the Perry Room behind Winton House on the High Street for a chance to meet and talk to others about the climate and nature and everything in between.
Access is either through the main cafe or via the side gate - please bring your keep cup or mug and buy a drink and snack from the cafe, or use our supplies for a small donation to PeCAN.
